The Internet of Things (IoT) empowers objects that were previously connected via closed circuits, such as communicators, cameras, sensors, and so on, allowing them to communicate globally using the internet.
 

If we had to define the Internet of Things, perhaps the best way would be to say that it is a network that interconnects physical objects using the internet.
